Jazz & Blues Spotlight

Sign up to play or sing at our "Jazz & Blues Spotlight", an extraordinary open mic night, where the soulful sounds of blues and jazz take center stage.Join us at Manhattan Lounge in Amsterdam Zuidas on the 23rd of June for an unforgettable evening of melodic brilliance.

Hosted by Alexander, a passionate jazz musician and charismatic host, this event is designed to create a safe and supportive space for emerging talent to shine. You can sign up as a musician, as a small band, or as a solo singer, and perform a song on stage, either accompanied by other instruments or with your own backing track.

IMPORTANT: Once you buy the ticket, you'll receive an email with the form to sign up as a performer. Remember to fill it in, so we know which song you want to perform on stage!

The goal of this event is to create a community of musicians, and to give everyone a chance to show off, experiment, and perform in front of a loving audience. Beginners are very welcome! We believe that mistakes are an essential part of growth, and "Jazz & Blues Spotlight" provides a nurturing environment where new talents can thrive, gain experience, and build confidence on stage.

You’re not a performer? Please join us anyways, for a lovely evening of Jazz and Blues music, and to support all the emerging talent!
By buying a ticket you will also receive a discount on dinner at Manhattan Lounge (or Happyhappyjoyjoy across the street), should you decide to arrive there a bit earlier, and enjoy a meal. For those who come after dinner, drinks and food can be bought at the bar all throughout the evening.
