We are delighted to invite you to a film evening with bites & drinks, on Wednesday, February 11. This special evening brings together expats and internationals to connect, network, and enjoy a foreign film together. And of course, Dutchies are more than welcome too! Join us for an evening of film, culture, and great company. Let’s celebrate the power of cinema together! This unique film night is a collaboration between Rialto VU, Bar Boele and Hello Zuidas.

No Other Choice is the new film by Park Chan-wook (Oldboy, The Handmaiden, Decision to Leave). This latest box-office hit from South Korea blends black comedy with cinematic mastery in a socially critical thriller.

After 25 years of loyal service, Man-su (Lee Byung-hun, Squid Game) loses his well-paid job as a supervisor at a paper factory when it is taken over by foreign owners. When it turns out that finding a new job is harder than expected, Man-su and his family are forced to drastically adjust their lifestyle. In a desperate attempt to come out on top in his next job application, Man-su decides to eliminate the competition. How far would you go when there is no other choice? Watch the trailer.

No Other Choice premiered at the Venice Film Festival and won the International Audience Award at the Toronto International Film Festival. South Korea’s Oscar submission has been shortlisted for Best International Feature Film.
