Hello Zuidas

As an area management organization Hello Zuidas aims for an optimally functioning and attractive Zuidas. To do so Hello Zuidas works closely together with its members that are both public and private parties located in the Zuidas area. Several interests come together at Zuidas. It is a vibrant area that is rapidly developing from a high-end business district into a full-grown and divers Amsterdam neighborhood, with international appeal and  high quality working and living conditions. The coming years its infrastructure will be significantly changed to be able to make this location the new city center of Amsterdam. To live up to these expectations in the future as well as during the realization phase Hello Zuidas is an important initiator, sponsor, facilitator and negotiator for and between public and private parties involved to establish an accessible, lively, clean, safe and sustainable Zuidas at all times.

 This year, Hello Zuidas will once again host a private concert at Loyens & Loeff. Since its formation in 2014, the Ardemus Quartet has played across the Netherlands and Europe, including performances in Amsterdam at the Holland Festival, SAX14 Festival at the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ and in the Recital Hall at The Concertgebouw. Noota Saxophone Duo @ Summertime, 12:30-1:30pm Gustav Mahlerlaan 637 Noota Saxofoon Duo is a young, international saxophone duo made up of Marijke Schröer from the Netherlands and David Cristóbal Litago from Spain. Noota’s credits include concerts in the Casa de Cultura in Villalgordo del Jucar, Spain, the Bethaniënklooster in Amsterdam and the Oosterpoort in Groningen. Opening of Palace Ruin by James Beckett @ Mahlerplein

Artist James Beckett’s smoke-wreathed Palace Ruin on Gustav Mahlerplein in Zuidas is conceived as a fragment of Amsterdam’s very own ‘crystal palace’ (Paleis voor Volksvlijt, 1864) that was destroyed by fire in 1929. The art project will be inaugurated with a lecture and concert. Every Friday in September and also on 7 October, a mix of architecture lectures and music performances will be staged in the Palace Ruin.
